Westminster Briefing C/O Dame Hackitt
A couple of weeks ago, Richard attended another Westminster briefing surrounding Dame Hackett & the changes in building regulations.
Next week will mark 2 years since the Grenfell Tower disaster; the fire safety legislations in England are beginning to change & we want to make sure we are up to date.
The topics of conversation at the briefing included; that Approved doc B should be the minimum standards for fire safety construction, there will be funding for the removal of ACM cladding on private sector buildings & there will be an investigation into misleading passive fire products such as, PU fire rated expanding foam.
We are waiting for new developments to take place and look forward to the changes
