The latest change to legislation is as a result of Dame Hackitt’s review of current building regulation (post-Grenfell) in which the government have been driven to review and change accordingly.
As a member of the institution of fire engineers, Richard, receives the latest information about changes to legislation and workshops in which we’ll be able to develop our understanding of the changes and how this will effect our clients.
Last year Richard attended The Westminster Briefing which was an up to date brief on the Government’s reforms to the National Planning Policy Framework from Michael Bingham, Head of Planning Strategy, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. This has allowed Richard to understand the changes within fire safety. G. F. Fire now understand the plans in place for the next 3 years, in which we are now planning and preparing for. This allows us to advise our clients the the most unto date legislations and advice on how to prepare for the upcoming changes.
